Dud Kunda/Pikey Peak:

Maximum height: 4651m.
Logistic option: only camping
The trail to Pikey Peak and Dud Kunda passes through Sherpa
villages and rhododendron forests exposing to picturesque
landscape and the panoramic views. Glorious sights of a wide
range of majestic Himalayas including Makalu, the Everest in the
east and Annapurna in the west are breathtaking and is also very
popular for its sunrise and sunset views. Dudh Kunda which
literally means milky lake is believed to be a holy lake and the
locals believe that taking a dip in the holy waters will have
the wishes granted.

Mahabharat
Rhododendron Trek:
10–17 days
Grade: moderate,
Maximum height: 2860m.
Logistic option: only camping
Not so far away from the Kathmandu valley but, this hilly area
in the mid region is very remote and still unexplored. The
region is yet to be introduced as trekking route despite its
unique features – big area of virgin rhododendron forest, home
of many wild animals and birds, famous for panoramic views of
the Mt Everest including eastern Himalayan ranges and the wide
open plains of tropical Terai, beautiful landscape and villages,
living museum for ethnic culture and many more attractions.
Moreover, the trekking could be combined with trip to & fro
Tibet plus white water rafting in Sunkoshi river to village-home
stays.

Chitwan
Hill Trail: 5 days
Grade: moderate,
Maximum height: 1945m.
Logistic option: only camping
Another hidden trekking route north of popular national park –
Chitwan not much explored yet is Shaktikhor – Siraichuli – Hugdi.
A life time experience of wildlife safari, white river rafting
and trekking is possible to easily combine together on this
trip. This Mahabharat trail passes through small hamlets
inhabited by Chepang and Magar ethnic communities, jungle,
brooklets etc. Siraichuli (1945m) one of the highest hill tops
is a fascinating view point for magnificent sun rise and set
views. Moreover, magnificent view of the Himalayan range of
Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Langtang, Rolwaling and many more and the
flat open land of Terai from the same spot is really breath
taking.

Tsum
Valley Trekking:
17–25 days
Grade: hard,
Maximum height: 5093m.
Logistic option: only camping
'Tsum' is derived from Tibetan word 'Tsombo', which means vivid.
Tsum valley is a culturally distinct geographical area called 'Tsum
Tso Chucksums', which means thirteen provinces ruled as a single
territory. The altitude in Tsum Valley trek varies from 1905 in
Lhokpa to over 5093m at Ngula Dhojhyang Pass on the Tibetan
border. The Hidden Valley is surrounded by Baudha Himal and
Himal Chuli to the west, Ganesh Himal to the south, and Sringi
Himal to the North. Due to its remoteness, the ancient relics
are still seen.

Nar
and Phu:
10–12 days
Grade: moderately hard,
Maximum height: 5100m.
Logistic option: only camping
Nar-Phu valley lies on the north east of remote Koto in
Annapurna region and is still untouchedby present modernization
and therefore; culturally, naturally and religiously enriched.
The trek to Nar and Phu provides magnificent views of Kangaru
Himal, Ratna Chuli, photogenic landscapes, allows experiencing
living culture and way of life of locals. It is one of the main
habitats of the endangered snow leopard where large herds of
blue sheep can be seen along the trail to Nar and Phu. Khampas
(Tibetan rebels) had once captured the valley and lived
illegally at Jhunum, Chyakhu, Meta and Kyang.

01. Price: our price is very reasonable and varies
depending on the size of the groups, standard of accommodation
and other facilities.
02. Trekking: trips will be tea-house or camping
depending upon the routes and interest of trekkers. In the areas
where tea houses are not available along the routes, it will be
full board camping trek including all meals, equipment (tents,
mattresses, utensils etc.), guides, cooks, porters, ground
transportation etc. Our cooks are well trained to prepare
healthy and varied dishes suiting to both western and Asian
tastes. Our guides are certified and have long experiences on
different trip routes. |
